This Privacy Policy applies to the Kotori app for mobile devices, created by katot (the "Service Provider") as a free service. This service is intended for use as is.
Information Collection and Use
The App collects anonymous usage analytics to improve the service. This includes aggregate information such as app launches, tab navigation, use of search, book reading, dictionary, and highlight features, and session durations. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Does the App collect precise real-time location data?
The App does not collect precise location information from your mobile device.
Can third parties view or access information collected by the App?
The App uses TelemetryDeck (telemetrydeck.com), a privacy-focused analytics service. TelemetryDeck anonymizes data using one-way hashing and does not store IP addresses or personal information. Data is processed on EU servers (Frankfurt).
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all information collection by the App by uninstalling it. Use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the app marketplace.
Children
The App does not knowingly collect data from or market to children under the age of 13.
Security
The Service Provider is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your information. Since the App does not collect any information, there is no risk of unauthorized third-party access to your data.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Please review this page periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of all changes. This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 11, 2026.
